Greenwood Farmers Market
The Greenwood Farmers Market began in 2009. It takes place from May to September in William Peters Town Park every Saturday. Vendors from all over the area come to sell homemade goodies, fresh fruits and vegetables, and many other items.

Greenwood Pioneer Heritage Festival
The Greenwood Pioneer Heritage Festival is a two-day celebration of the enduring spirit of the pioneers who settled this land. The festival features a parade, vendors, a pancake breakfast, and many other family-friendly activites.
Gators and Friends
Established in 2006, Gators and Friends was created to increase awareness among the public of different types of animals, their habitat, lifestyle, and survival techniques. Although their exotic petting farm may be new, their love for animals is not! They have been in the wildlife business for over 30 years! Everything from alligators to zebras can be found there. Their goal is to educate the public on the proper care and understanding of animals that individuals may encounter on a daily basis, whether it is the family’s pet hamster or the family of gray squirrels that nest in the backyard.
Aluminum Recycling Program
The Town of Greenwood is going green for a cause! The Greenwood Aluminum Recycling Program will trade cans for new playground equipment in William Peters Town Park. The collection site is Greenwood Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will also have drop-off sites available at any event in the park, such as farmers markets, summer musicals, and the Pioneer Heritage Festival.
Garden of the American Rose Society
Founded in 1892, the American Rose Society is the oldest single plant horticultural society in America. The American Rose Center features more than 20,000 rose bushes that comprise of nearly 400 cultivars of modern and old roses.
The Dunn Home
The Dunn Home, located on the corner of Hwy. 80 and Nixon St., was once used as a hospital during the Civil War. Come experience this beautifully restored, two-room slice of history that serves as the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce office.
Crooked Hollow Golf Course
Open seven days a week year round, Crooked Hollow operates on a reservation and walk-up tee time basis. A full service pro shop accepts all conventional payment methods for green fees, cart rentals, practice range and merchandise. Your favorite foods and beverages are available from the on-premise restaurant and snack bar. From golf lessons given by our staff professionals, to food catering for more than 120 persons at a time, Crooked Hollow provides all of the golfer's needs.
