As Mayor, the citizens and I, wish to welcome you to Greenwood, the "Gateway to Louisiana". We are located near the western edge of Caddo Parish in the Northwestern corner of Louisiana, approximately two miles from the Texas state line.

Greenwood is a pretty and quiet community steeped in history and offering a relaxing escape with its' small town atmosphere. We offer residents and visitors the opportunity to come and enjoy our summer musicals in the park, and year-round to visit the "Flea Market", Dunn House, Gators and Friends or the American Rose Garden. You will enjoy our small town friendliness and enthusiasm.
